He worked as Director of R&D at Bio-Imaging Research, VP of R&D and VP of Engineering for PerkinElmer- EG&G Astrophysics and has contributed to projects including x-ray backscatter and Multi-Slice CT equipment for medical applications. Francois Zayek has shaped Astrophysics into a company focused on the continuous development of new x-ray imaging integrated with the newest technological trends.

Today Astrophysics has a global presence in over 100 countries with more than 5,000 installations. Our customer base is diverse including the military, embassies, airports, hotels, mailrooms, prisons, courthouses, cargo freight forwarders and more.
