The XIS-VAN is a PC-based system incorporating the latest electronic technology with an enhanced modular design. It utilizes a high-speed computer that implements advanced, complex algorithms in real-time operations.
Designed for Large Parcels
The XIS VAN is a mobile X-ray system built to house the XIS-100 system from Astrophysics Inc. It includes a diesel power generator that supports all the vehicle’s on-board utilities, including the X-ray system and an air conditioning unit for the operator’s compartment. The XIS-VAN is built into the cargo compartment of the Ford 450E van. Openings on both sides of the van allow ample space for both operation and maintenance.

Designed to be Networked
The XIS-VAN is designed to be networked with other inspection systems for high-speed data transmission via Ethernet. It uses a Windows XP Professional-based operating system running a TCP/IP network protocol system. Images from each XIS-VAN can be sent through the network to a central server where they are viewed, stored or printed.
