Screening Software Features
A unique range of software features designed to optimize threat prevention and product identification.
The walk-through WT1000 metal detector provides high-detection performance, and maximum throughput with multi-dimensional scanning. It creates an absolutely uniform magnetic field for detection, thereby eliminating any “hot spots.” Microprocessors in both detection and control circuitry create greater sensitivity for detecting weapons. The built-in multi-coil circuitry minimizes false alarms.

The WT1000 provides high quality, value and proven reliability. It meets the latest requirements of the FAA and other regulatory bodies, as well as all international standards for CEC regulations.
Regulatory Information
The WT1000 meets or exceeds detection requirements of the National Institute of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Standards #0601.00, levels 1-5, and the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Application Specifications. Programs have been designed specifically to meet the three-gun text of the FAA and the requirements of the Undetectable Firearms Act of 1991. The WT1000 complies with IEC standards for safety requirements for electronic measuring apparatus and meets the Federal Communications Commission Class B standards for noise emission from commercial electrical equipment. The WT 1000 confroms to the new European Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive, 89.335.EEC CE.
Public Safety
The peak magnetic field strength of the WT1000 is less than one Gauss and does not affect magnetic recording media, including magntic tape, diskettes and cards. The WT1000 has been tested in accordance to and meets the following electromagnetic safety requirements:
• Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers: A Standard for Safety Levels with Respect to Human Exposure to Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Fields, 3 kHz to 300 Ghz. IEEE C95.1 - 1991 section 4.12
• National Institute of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice: Standard for Walk-through Metal Detectors for use in Weapon Detection, NILECJ-STD-0601.00 section 4.11
